Wednesday, 02/25/26 | Mood: Up Too Late

New article is up! Finally...

I feel like it's been years since my last article. I'm so glad I finally finished one. I really just forced myself to bleed on the page here. I promise I'll do some articles that are a bit more light-hearted, I really want that, but complaining is the best motivator for me to sit here and type. But I know that's a crutch. It's not like the Internet needs more whining and complaining these days.

Anyway, I'm up way too late and I'm supposedly going to visit my dentist tomorrow so I should get to bed now.

Okay, a lot has happened in these last few months. First thing- my computer. I was able to get my RAM sticks replaced, just a month before these crazy price surges started. These AI nerds are killing us, man. I felt like the last chopper out of Saigon getting these DDR4 RAM sticks for $100. Maybe I still overpaid, but I'll take that price over whatever these scalpers are asking today. I'm never gonna upgrade my GPU, am I?

On the bright side, I got a new car! It's much less bulky than my gas-guzzling old SUV, which I definitely didn't use to its fullest. I only use that clunker to get to and from work, spending $140 every two weeks just to maintain that crate was torture. But now, the money I would've spent on that is going to my "premium" insurance package. Oh, joy.

But I know y'all don't care about that. You want to know about the site! I have plans, (When do I not have plans?) but it may take some time. I know- what's new, right? Well, one thing that I want to focus on is decreasing the "wordy" qualities of my site so far. Just look at my About page. Words, words, words. Just a wall of text about nonsense. I need images. I need something... interactive.

Those of you who follow my profile on NeoCities likely know about the elusive Tinker page. The little project on there is only the beginning.

P.S.: I got the job. Huzzah! I can now officially begin my full time... retail management job... with the degree I wasted 4 years on...

It's starting to sound like less of an achievement now that I actually type it out... But in this job market, who can complain?
